Reimagined Insect Collection Boxes using mixed media: watercolor, crayon, craypas, pencil, markers, tempera paint, construction paper, brown craft paper. The painting techniques included blending with white and the drawing part included overlap of nature shapes.

The 6th graders learned about building with clay by making cupcakes and slices of cake, some are one solid piece and others have removable lids. The painted and decorated them to look real and we set up the Goodrich Bakeshop in the showcase in our commons.
